- New assignment
- Take out Stations of the Cross book found in your green at Home Learning Folder.
- Review Stations 1 - 10 before playing link. Students should be able to name each station if you review daily.
- Station 1: Jesus is Condemned to Death Students should be able to name Pontius Pilate, what he did and why.
- Station 2: Jesus Accepts His Cross Students should know that large heavy wooden cross is given to Jesus to carry.
- Station 3: Jesus Falls Students should know that Jesus falls for the first time. They should know how Jesus is tired, weak, beaten, and mistreated.
- Station #4: Jesus Meets His Mother Students should know that Jesus meets his mother. They are both suffering and sharing their love for one another.
- Station #5: Simon Takes the Cross Students should know that a man from the crowd named Simon was forced to help Jesus carry his cross.
- Station #6: Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus Students should know that a woman named Veronica wipes the face of Jesus using a cloth. Because of her kindness, Jesus leaves an image of his face on the cloth.
- Station #7:Jesus Falls Again Students should know that Jesus falls for the second time. This time it is even harder for Jesus to get up. The cross is getting heavier and Jesus struggles to get up on his feet again.
- Station #8:Jesus Meets the Women Students should know that Jesus meets a group of women as he is walking. The women are crying and Jesus stops to comfort them. Remind them that the women are crying because Jesus is suffering.
- Station #9: Jesus Falls the Third and Last Time Students should know that Jesus has fallen a third time. Despite the sight of the Hill of Cavalry, he gets up and continues his journey.
- Station #10: Jesus is Stripped of His Clothes Students should know that the soldiers strip Jesus of his clothes. The people continue to laugh and call him names.
- Please show video and STOP at the end of Station 12. Video may be played from the beginning.
- Students may practice naming each Station they have learned about as they are presented in the video.

- Station #11: Jesus is Nailed to the Cross Students should know that Jesus lays upon the cross and the soldiers begin to hammer the stakes into his hands and feet.
- Have children think being nice to others, before hurt feelings feel like spikes in our hearts.
- Station #12: Jesus Dies Have students take a moment to speak to Jesus in their own words and share their feelings of love for him.
