- Take out Stations of the Cross book found in your green at Home Learning Folder.
- Review Stations 1 - 3 before playing link. Students should be able to name each station if you review daily.
- Station 1: Jesus is Condemned to Death Students should be able to name Pontius Pilate, what he did and why.
- Station 2: Jesus Accepts His Cross Students should know that large heavy wooden cross is given to Jesus to carry.
- Station 3: Jesus Falls Students should know that Jesus falls for the first time. They should know how Jesus is tired, weak, beaten, and mistreated.
- Station #4 Jesus Meets His Mother Students should know that Jesus meets his mother. They are both suffering and sharing their love for one another.
- Please show video and STOP at the end of Station 6. Video may be played from the beginning.
- Students may practice naming each Station they have learned about as they are presented in the video.

- Station #5: Simon Takes the Cross Talk to your child about how weak Jesus is becoming. The soldiers are afraid that Jesus may not make it up the hill to his crucifixion(remind them of meaning). The soldiers grab a man out of the crowd named Simon and force him to carry the cross.
- Have students think of a time they could have helped, Maybe by doing and not just standing and watching.

- Station #6: Veronica Wipes the Face of Jesus Talk to your child about Veronica. A woman forces herself through the crowd to help. She begins to wipe the face of Jesus with a cloth. Because of her kindness, Jesus leaves an imprint of his face upon her cloth.
